Walking off the Jetlag
It was just getting dark when I set off to explore the neighbourhood after settling into my hotel and warming up with a mulled wine!! As it starts getting dark in London at about 3.30pm, this was the perfect time to see some of the lights come on.
Even some of the red buses are decorated for Christmas!!
The Ritz always looks amazing, but really gets it’s sparkle on at Christmas time. The Christmas trees at the front door were all lit up ti greet their Christmas guests.
Then further down Piccadilly, the Princes Arcade and all the streets were all ready for Santa’s arrival. The crowds were starting to build as everyone was in London to see the lights and some were doing some last minute shopping, the shops were packed!!
